First 5 LAEvery county has a First 5 Commission and Los Angeles' Commission recently debuted a new parenting resource section of their website. The local events are a little out of the way for Del Norters, but the information is great -- everything from oral health to fathers to developmental milestones!
Zero to ThreeZero to Three offers resources and information for the first three years of life. Their parenting page has resources for parents (and grandparents!) on a variety of topics. They also have pages on early development and early learning.

Stress HealthThe Stress Health website is a project of the Center for Child Wellness, an organization founded by California's first Surgeon General, Dr. Nadine Burke-Harris. It provides resources for families exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Their new blog provides parenting advice and tools for parents with ACEs.
Post-partum AdviceThe first few weeks and months after your child's birth can be stressful in many ways. Your body is going through a lot of physical changes. You may be sleep-deprived. And you have a new baby to care for! Here's a great article with lots of advice, resources, and links.
